The Bachelor in Cardiovascular Technology (B.CT). is a specialized undergraduate programme designed to develop competent cardiovascular technologists with strong scientific knowledge, clinical skills, and technical expertise in cardiac diagnostics and interventional procedures.

The programme focuses on training students in advanced cardiovascular diagnostic modalities such as Electrocardiography (ECG), Echocardiography, Treadmill Testing (TMT), Cardiac Catheterization, and Electrophysiology. With rapid advancements in cardiac care technology, the programme emphasizes hands-on clinical exposure, equipment handling, patient care, and procedural assistance in high-end cardiac settings.

Aligned with modern healthcare demands, the curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge, clinical training, and research orientation to prepare students to function efficiently in multidisciplinary cardiac care teams. EVALUATION & ASSESSMENTS

Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE)
  • Regular assessments, assignments, and presentations
End Semester Examination (ESE)
  • Theory and practical examinations conducted by the university

Students must pass both internal and external assessments independently.

Standard of Passing
  • Minimum 40% marks in each component
  • CGPA-based grading system (Minimum CGPA: 4/10)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics OR equivalent as decided by competent authority, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

HOW TO APPLY

Application Procedure

  • STEP I: Online registration for Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (BCT) programme by filling out the online registration form and making an online payment of registration charges of Rs. 1500/-.

  • STEP II: You will be called for an Entrance Test and Personal Interview (PI) based on the preliminary screening.

  • STEP III: Selection will be intimated to the candidate through email.

  • STEP IV: Admission process for the Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (B.CT) programme will be completed after verification of all submitted documents and payment of the 1st installment of academic fees.

Selection Process
Admission will be based on a composite merit score, with 50% weightage assigned to performance in Senior Secondary (10+2) and 50% weightage based on the Entrance Examination and Personal Interaction, conducted by the respective University.

Step 2: Enter the website and click on UG Application Open 2026 tab. This takes you to the registration portal.

Step 3: Check your eligibility for the programme at the respective institute website and confirm the same. Candidates can use online or offline payment options to pay the application fee (non-refundable).

Step 6: The Admissions Committee will carefully review your application and the supporting documents you provide. If shortlisted, you will be invited for further evaluation.

Step 7: There are Three possible outcomes for your application: offer, waitlist, or regret. You will be informed of the Admission Committee's decision within 15 working days. Students on waitlist will receive an email from SCIE with reference to their status after declaration of merit list.
