The Bachelor in Neuroscience Technology (B.NT) is a specialized undergraduate programme designed to develop competent neuroscience technologists with strong scientific knowledge, clinical skills, and technical expertise in neurodiagnostics and neurophysiological procedures.
The programme focuses on training students in advanced neurodiagnostic modalities such as Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Electromyography (EMG), Polysomnography (Sleep Studies), and Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM). With rapid advancements in neuroscience and neurotechnology, the programme emphasizes hands-on clinical exposure, equipment handling, patient care, and procedural assistance in advanced neurological settings.
Aligned with modern healthcare demands and NCAHP guidelines, the curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge, clinical training, and research orientation to prepare students to function efficiently in multidisciplinary neuroscience and neurological care teams. Graduates are trained to assist neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neurophysiologists in both diagnostic and intraoperative procedures while ensuring patient safety, ethical practice, and quality care delivery.
The programme is conducted by the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) and is designed to produce highly skilled allied health professionals capable of meeting global healthcare standards.
Neuroscience Technology is a rapidly growing field with increasing demand for skilled professionals in neurological diagnostics and neurocritical care.
