Master of Dialysis Therapy (M.DT) will be awarded at the end of semester 8 by taking into consideration the performance of all semester examinations subject to obtaining a minimum 5.00 CGPA out of 10 CGPA.

During orientation of this program, students are introduced to the advanced scope of dialysis therapy practice, including specialized renal replacement therapies, multidisciplinary renal care, and management of complex renal and urological disorders. The orientation also highlights professional responsibilities, ethical principles, infection prevention, biomedical waste management, and quality assurance in dialysis units.
Students are further oriented to research and academic expectations of the program, including dissertation work, scientific writing, research methodology, and biostatistics. Exposure to institutional research policies, ethical review procedures, and evidence-based practice prepares learners to contribute to clinical research and innovation in nephrology and dialysis therapy. This orientation ensures that learners understand both clinical and academic expectations while developing professional identity as advanced dialysis therapy specialists.
The pedagogy of the program is based on the competency-based training model recommended by NCAHP, integrating theoretical knowledge, clinical skill development, research competency, and professional practice.
