Orientation and Pedagogy

The Postgraduate Diploma in Intensive Care Technology is a one-year part-time program designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the field of Respiratory care. The program covers a diverse range of topics, including Principles of Ventilator, Respiratory Anatomy & Physiology, Modes of ventilator, Emergency procedures and Cardiopulmonary Diseases and Cardiopulmonary Pharmacology, Respiratory Quality Control, Patient Monitoring and Complication Management, Infection Control in Intensive Care Unit, and Recent Advances in Respiratory Modalities.

This program adopts a hybrid approach, offering part-time offline modes of instruction to accommodate diverse learning preferences and facilitate accessibility for students. Through in-person didactic lectures on campus, students will engage with course materials and collaborate with peers and instructors.

A key focus of the program is to empower students to apply their knowledge and technical expertise to real-world Respiratory challenges and patient care scenarios. Students will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with faculty mentors, Intensivist, and industry experts to develop and implement innovative solutions for Ventilatory Management. By actively engaging in practical training, case studies, and hands-on experience with Invasive and Non-Invasive ventilatory machines, students will build confidence and technical proficiency in Respiratory care.

Overall, the Postgraduate Diploma in Intensive Care Technology emphasizes a learner-centered approach, fostering active participation, critical thinking, and hands-on application of knowledge. Eligibility Criteria

Passed Std. XII (10+2) Science with biological sciences/GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) OR equivalent from any recognized board as decided by the competent authority.

STEP I: Online registration to Diploma in Paramedical Technology (Dialysis Technology): Complete the online registration by filling the online registration form and making online payment of registration charges. Registration charges are Rs.1250/-

STEP II: You will be called for Personal Interaction in online mode.

STEP III: Selection will be intimated to the candidate through email.

STEP IV: Admission process for Diploma in Paramedical Technology (Dialysis Technology) programme will be completed after the verification of all the submitted documents and payment of academic fees.
