Orientation and Pedagogy

The Postgraduate Diploma in Dialysis Technology is a one-year part-time program designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the field of dialysis and renal care. A key focus of the program is to empower students to apply their knowledge and technical expertise to real-world dialysis challenges and patient care scenarios. The program covers a diverse range of topics, including, Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Modalities, Water Treatment Systems for Dialysis, Dialysis Quality Control & Patient Monitoring and Complication Management, Infection Control in Dialysis Units, and Recent Advances in Dialysis Modalities.

This program adopts a hybrid approach, offering part time offline modes of instruction to accommodate diverse learning preferences and facilitate accessibility for students. Through in-person didactic lectures on campus, students will engage with course materials and collaborate with peers and instructors.

Students will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with faculty mentors, nephrologists, and industry experts to develop and implement innovative solutions for improving dialysis treatment outcomes. By actively engaging in practical training, case studies, and hands-on experience with dialysis machines, students will build confidence and technical proficiency in dialysis care. Combination of theoretical insights, laboratory-based exercises, clinical exposure, and mentorship, students will develop the expertise and confidence required to excel in the field of dialysis technology and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of renal care and patient management.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed Std. XII (10+2) Science with biological sciences/GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) OR equivalent from any recognized board as decided by the competent authority.

Important: It is the responsibility of the Candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualifications for admission. Having provisional admission does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

STEP I: Online registration to Diploma in Paramedical Technology (Dialysis Technology): Complete the online registration by filling the online registration form and making online payment of registration charges. Registration charges are Rs.1250/-

STEP II: You will be called for Personal Interaction in online mode.

STEP III: Selection will be intimated to the candidate through email.

STEP IV: Admission process for Diploma in Paramedical Technology (Dialysis Technology) programme will be completed after the verification of all the submitted documents and payment of academic fees.
